General Entry Information

The Electronics Excellence Awards are open to all companies within the electronics industry. To participate, all entries must be submitted through the online form. It’s crucial to adhere strictly to the provided instructions, as this ensures that the judging panel has all the necessary information to evaluate your submission fairly and compare it with others in the same category.

Eligibility Criteria

Unless specifically stated otherwise, submissions should pertain to work conducted between December 2022 and November 2024. Companies or individuals are welcome to submit entries on their own behalf or on behalf of others, such as colleagues, industry peers, suppliers, or clients. If submitting on behalf of someone else, make sure to obtain their consent beforehand.

Submission Timeline and Requirements

  • Entries Open: 4th July 2024
  • Entries Close: Midnight GMT, 11th October 2024

Your written entry will serve as the foundation for judging and shortlisting. Therefore, it is vital to complete it thoroughly and include all requested information. Demonstrate clearly how your submission meets the criteria for the award category you are entering. Also, ensure your submission is properly formatted, as entries that do not comply with the format may not be considered.

Note: You must complete all mandatory fields, indicated by an asterisk (*), to finalize your submission.

  • Product Description (400-word limit): Provide a detailed description of your product to be showcased at Electronica, including its specifications, unique features, and the journey that led it to be displayed at the event.

  • Competitive Edge (400-word limit): Explain what sets your product apart from the competition and how you plan to demonstrate its innovation at Electronica.

  • Impact and Application (400-word limit): Discuss in detail how your product will influence the industry and its potential end-user applications.

Note: Stick to the 400-word limit for each section, as entries that are either too brief or too lengthy may be penalized.

Additional Submission Details

  • Booth Number: Where your product will be displayed at Electronica 2024.
  • Website: The company’s website representing the product.
  • Product Image: To be featured in promotional newsletters.
  • Supporting Documents: Include any datasheets, application notes, videos, or other materials that can strengthen your submission (up to five files).

Judging Process

Our independent judging panel consists of senior representatives from end-user organizations, consultants, and key industry players, all selected by the editors of Electronic Specifier. The judges convene on a dedicated judging day to review and score the entries, with all scores being verified and averaged to ensure fairness.

To maintain the integrity of the process, judges may sign Non-Disclosure Agreements and must disclose any conflicts of interest.
