Electronics Excellence Awards 2026 – Entry Terms and Conditions

  • Entrants must be aged 18 years or over to enter any categories.

  • Entries for the Electronics Excellence Awards 2026 will open at 09:00 BST on 8 June 2026 and must be submitted via electronicsexcellenceaward.com.

  • The entry deadline is midnight (BST) on 2 October 2026. Electronic Specifier reserves the right to amend the entry deadline and associated award timelines where necessary.

  • By submitting an entry, you agree to Electronic Specifier’s Privacy Policy and these Terms and Conditions.

  • Entries must be submitted through the official online entry form at electronicsexcellenceaward.com.

  • Electronic Specifier accepts no responsibility for technical issues, website failures, internet connectivity problems, or any other circumstances that may prevent an entry from being submitted successfully. If you experience technical difficulties, please contact awards@electronicspecifier.com before the entry deadline.

  • Entrants may submit multiple entries across one or more categories, provided each entry relates to a different product, project, company, or achievement and meets the criteria of the selected category.

  • By submitting an entry, entrants grant Electronic Specifier permission to use submitted information, images, logos, and supporting materials for the promotion of the Electronics Excellence Awards and related editorial coverage.

  • Electronic Specifier reserves the right to reject, disqualify, or remove any entry that is incomplete, misleading, offensive, infringes third-party rights, or otherwise fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

Entry Fees and Payment

  • Entry fees are payable at the time of submission unless an invoice payment option has been selected.

  • Entries paid by credit or debit card will be confirmed upon successful payment.

  • Where an entrant selects the invoice payment option, the entry will be acknowledged upon submission but will not be considered complete or eligible for judging until payment has been received in full.

  • Electronic Specifier reserves the right to withdraw unpaid entries from the judging process.

  • All entry fees are non-refundable.

Judging

  • All entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges selected by Electronic Specifier.

  • Judges will be chosen based on their expertise and experience within the electronics industry and related sectors.

  • Electronic Specifier reserves the right to determine the final shortlist and winners.

  • The judges’ and Electronic Specifier’s decisions are final. No correspondence, discussion, or feedback regarding judging decisions will be entered into.

  • Shortlisted entrants may be contacted to provide additional information, supporting materials, or confirmation of attendance at the awards presentation.

Winners

  • Winners will be announced at electronica 2026 on 10 November 2026 at 12:30 CET on the Future Tech Stage, Hall C6, Messe München, Germany.

  • Winners who are not present at the announcement will be notified using the contact details supplied after the announcement.

  • It is the responsibility of entrants to provide accurate and up-to-date contact information.

  • Electronic Specifier accepts no responsibility where a winner cannot be contacted due to incorrect or outdated contact details.

Publicity

  • Shortlisted entries may be featured in Electronic Specifier newsletters, magazines, websites, social media channels, videos, presentations, and promotional materials.

  • Winners may be required to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the awards.

  • By entering, entrants grant Electronic Specifier permission to publish their company name, product name, entry title, logo, and summary information in connection with the awards.

Liability

  • Entry into the Electronics Excellence Awards is at the entrant’s own risk.

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Electronic Specifier shall not be liable for any loss, damage, costs, expenses, claims, or liabilities arising from participation in the awards programme.

  • Electronic Specifier reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant and may request supporting documentation where necessary.

  • Electronic Specifier reserves the right to amend, suspend, postpone, or cancel the awards programme where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary.

Notification of Results

  • Shortlisted entrants and unsuccessful entrants will be notified by email prior to the public announcement of the winners.

  • Electronic Specifier reserves the right to amend notification dates and publication schedules where necessary due to operational requirements.

General

  • Electronic Specifier reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

  • Entry into the Electronics Excellence Awards constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
