Electronic Specifier has announced the winners of its Electronics Excellence Awards during a ceremony held on the Visionary Stage, Hall B4, at electronica 2024 on 14th November at 12:50 pm.
The awards celebrated innovation and outstanding contributions to the electronics industry, with products competing in three categories: Power Product, Test & Measurement Product, and Electromechanical Product.
The Winners
Power Product Winner: Nordic Semiconductor – nPM1300 Power Management IC
Nordic’s nPM1300 Power Management IC is a multi-functional PMIC designed to simplify power management in low-power products. It fully integrates all essential system management features, eliminating the need for multiple discrete components. The product’s associated Evaluation Kit (nPM1300 EK) simplifies evaluation and development.
Judges’ Comments:
The judges praised the product for its high level of integration and functionality, describing it as an excellent submission supported by strong customer testimonials.
Test & Measurement Product Winner: Analog Devices – ADMT4000
The ADMT4000 is the world’s first single-chip multiturn position sensor, offering absolute measurement over 360° without power or contact. Unlike existing single-turn sensors, the ADMT4000 provides groundbreaking functionality for design engineers.
Judges’ Comments:
The panel commended this product as highly innovative and unique, noting that it addresses a clear gap in the market with no direct competitors.
SiTime’s Chorus family of MEMS-based clock generators serves AI data centres and communication infrastructure applications. By eliminating the complexity of conventional clock and quartz oscillator designs, the Chorus family simplifies system design and enhances performance and reliability.
Judges’ Comments:
The judges highlighted the product’s ability to reduce component count, streamline the design process, and accelerate time to market, making it a valuable tool for engineers.
“Congratulations to the winners of our Electronics Excellence Awards at electronica! Your achievements highlight the innovation, dedication, and progress driving the electronics industry forward. We are proud to celebrate your contributions and look forward to the impact you will continue to make in shaping the future of technology,” said Paige West, Managing Editor, Electronic Specifier.
